The High Plains Writing Project is a site of the National Writing Project, a federally funded professional development program recognized by the No Child Left Behind Act. Teacher leaders at our site work to provide professional development opportunities specific to the expressed needs of teachers in our service area. The project's ultimate goal is improving student achievement. Eastern New Mexico University is proud to offer this program, which is based at the Roswell campus.
