Educational Administration

Getting your Master of Education (MEd) allows you the advanced knowledge base and skills needed to become a school administrator. Completion of this program qualifies candidates for a New Mexico educational administration license for principals and superintendents. Nonadministration candidates may request permission to take some courses in other degree programs.

Internship-based program

Focus on the role of educational leader for the improvement of student learning in this internship-based program which features 12 hours of core courses followed by 24 required hours that include a year-long internship. Learn more.

Completion of the Educational Administration emphasis at ENMU along with the successful completion of the NMTA Ed Administration exam will allow students to apply for a NMPED License in Educational Administration. All requirements of the NMPED must be successfully met in order to apply and ultimately receive the Ed. Administration license. www.ped.state.nm.us/Licensure
