Biography
Dr. Hurtado de Vivas was born in San Tome, Anzoategui in Venezuela. After graduating from high school, she came to the USA to continue her education. Later she returned to her country and worked for twenty years at the Universidad de Oriente, in Cumana where she taught courses in Education and in the field of English as a Second Language. Two years ago, Dr. Hurtado de Vivas came to Portales to work as an Assistant Professor at Eastern.
