Biography
Dr. Pittman was born and raised in Roswell, NM, but moved to Alabama as a young adult. She taught in the public schools there for 14 years and at the University of West Alabama for 11 years. She retired from the Alabama system and moved to Ruidoso. Deciding that retirement didn't suit her, she began teaching graduate courses for ENMU in 2004 and joined the faculty full time in the fall of 2005. Her husband is a retired historian, and they currently live in Roswell and Ruidoso with their three dogs.
