Biography
Dr. Kobritz practiced law and accounting in Bangor, Maine for ten years, and later owned and operated two Minor League Baseball teams: the Maine Guides in the Class AAA International League and the Daytona Cubs in the Class A Florida State League. He has taught Business Law at St. Cloud State University, Keiser College, University of Maine and Husson University, and Sports Management and Sports Law at St. Cloud State University, University of Wyoming, Northern Arizona University, Saint Leo University and ENMU.
Dr. Kobritz is a member of the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM), the Sports & Recreation Law Association (SRLA), the Sports Lawyers Association (SLA), the Sports Marketing Association (SMA) and the New Mexico Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance (NMAHPERD). He has delivered numerous papers and presentations at national, state and local conferences on a variety of topics dealing with the business of sports and is a frequent guest on radio and television programs commenting on issues related to the business of sports.
