Biography
Born in Albuquerque, NM, Janet E. Roehl received her education in the southwest, earning degrees from Northern Arizona University and Arizona State University. Dr. Roehl has served as the publication coordinator for the Office of Research Services at ASU and worked in higher continuing education as the associate director of the Office of Continuing Education and Sumer Sessions at University of Wisconsin-Stout. In 1985 she returned to the southwest as the director of University Outreach at ENMU. Several years later, she entered the classroom as an assistant professor and advisor to student media. Dr. Roehl has also served as a department chair and graduate coordinator. Currently, she is a professor in the Department of Educational Studies. She has written one book, edited two others, and published numerous articles and made over 75 presentations.
