Biography
Born and reared in central Illinois, Dr. Waggoner was a superintendent beginning in 1976 for a district of 400 students. He retired from the superintendency in January 2004 after 29 years. His career as superintendent covered four school districts, all with in 100 miles of each other in central Illinois. The last district he worked in had 1500 students. Dr. Waggoner has been married for 37 years, has two sons, a daughter-in-law, and a grandson.
